We are a Lebanese-Middle Eastern restaurant and seeking an experienced Floor Manager. The ideal candidate will have a great handle on Front of House Staff training, coaching and providing an exceptional customer service experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supports the Restaurant GM with hiring, assigning, training, evaluating and terminating employees
Creates an encouraging atmosphere that stimulates and motivates employees to acceptable levels of turnover, absenteeism, and promotions
Management of all Front of house staff
Ensures exceptional service standards are consistently met and that activities are carried out effectively
Ensures consistent, high-quality service standards are maintained in the assigned hub through effective training and feedback mechanisms
MUST Build strong rapport with guests and continually check on guests ensuring they are satisfied
Inspects dining room and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Implement and maintain all standards set by the company
Perform other job-related duties as assigned throughout your tenure and understand they may change when the business grows and clients develop loyalty to the establishment.
Requirements:
At least 5+ years of Restaurant Management experience.
Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
Must have open availability including mornings, PM and weekends
Excellent guest service skills. Ability to respond to handle difficult or stressful situations with tact and diplomacy.
Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Highly-organized, with the agility to manage a dynamic, fast-paced working environment
Strong communicator with the ability to connect, motivate and inspire people
Physical demands with activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, lifting, carrying and stooping
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 40 lbs
