The Role

OWL Services is hiring a Full-Time Apprentice Electrician.

Salary: HOURLY (depending on experience)

The anticipated start date for this position is a class date scheduled.

Openings are available at Dallas/ Fort Worth, TX. You will spend your first days in Fort Worth.

Schedule:

10-hour shift

8-hour shift

Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades.

Work on projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Minimum of 3-8 years relevant work experience in a heavy commercial setting.

Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.

(Prefer) minimum of four (4) hours formal training on the NFPA-70E code, understand arc-flash dynamics, hazard analysis, and PPE requirements for potential hazards.

Must have a current valid two forms of ID for employment.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft computer applications used for compiling data and work records.

Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a quality team member in a demanding service environment.

Ability to communicate with customers in a professional, effective manner.

TDLR license required.

Tradesman - must have 6-10 years’ experience in a commercial setting.

A must pass a pre-employment UA drug screen.
