What you’ll do
The Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) organization embodies the hub of lifecycle engineering at TJX, delivering, maintaining, and optimizing our technology portfolio at cloud scale. We are a service-oriented team aimed at providing extraordinary experiences to thousands of TJX associates, business partners, and application delivery teams across the portfolio.
As a Data Center Manager, you will be leading a highly skilled Team of engineers on large business driven projects whilst focusing on delivering excellence within our daily work environment
Overseeing the day to day operations of the North American data center locations
Work with internal customers and external suppliers to the highest standards on assigned projects
Driving global efficiencies to deliver the best service to the business
Take accountability for the overall technical health of our products, and lead our Engineers in defining the technical aspects of our product roadmap
What you’ll need
We seek creative, customer-focused individuals with technical expertise and a mindset for continuous improvement. We rethink how software and infrastructure are delivered at cloud scale, and work closely with other teams to improve key services. An in-depth understanding of core networking platforms essential to be successful in this role.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ Years of managing large Data Center and collocation locations
Proven track record in managing teams within a large corporate business
In-depth experience in large M&E environments, failover testing such facilities
Preferred Qualifications
Significant Engineering management experience
Experience of working as part of a Global management team, including an ability to collaborate with stakeholders, peers and team members across multiple time zones.
Extensive line management experience of technical people, across a broad range of disciplines
Strong collaboration and leadership skills
CNET (CDCMP) Qualification or equivalent
This position has a starting salary range of $122,400.20 to $159,100.24 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
