Palo Alto - Travel across North America
Salary Range: $62,000K - $120,000K (DOE)
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and
validation for BLI instrumentation.
Maintain annual service contracts: Schedule and perform
annual preventive maintenance.
Maintain internal instruments for optimal performance
(R&D, applications, demo stock).
Perform and document system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) for
repaired and incoming stock.
Triage, schedule, and provide customer support via phone,
email, or visits.
Manage customer relationships and escalations.
Maintain professional and positive relationships with
internal and external customers.
Report and contribute DFS recommendations for products
in development.
Document tasks performed at customer sites using SFDC.
Log all customer visits and provide feedback to appropriate
departments.
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, optical engineering, or related field required.
2-3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation service.
Mandarin language skills preferred.
Basic wet lab skills necessary.
Knowledge of IQ/OQ/PQ is advantageous.
Experience with spectroscopy instrumentation (UV/VIS, Fluorescence, IR, FTIR, Raman) is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized and capable of working independently.
Willingness to travel 50-75%.
