Location: Mundelein, Illinois (Hybrid: Tues, Weds, and Thurs in-office)

This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time.

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced SAP Project Manager to join their team and lead projects under the Unify umbrella. The Unify program encompasses all initiatives aimed at integrating and streamlining their SAP systems across various business functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects that align with the client’s strategic objectives. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and closure of SAP projects within the Unify program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource allocation.

Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, supply chain, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of SAP solutions.

Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are delivered within the allocated budget and timeline.

Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop contingency plans as necessary.

Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including executive leadership, through regular status reports and presentations.

Ensure compliance with the client’s project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within the SAP landscape.

Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.

A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing SAP projects.

Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale SAP implementations and integrations.

Strong knowledge of SAP modules and functionalities, including but not limited to FICO, MM, SD, and PP.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar platforms.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong understanding of change management principles and experience in driving organizational change.
