Required–

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a systems’ engineering and/or electronics testing discipline.

BS degree in mechanical, electrical, computer, or aerospace engineering or other relevant technical discipline.

Understanding of space industry integration and test processes with execution experience.

Desired skills -

Strong knowledge of hardware/software/mechanical interaction, implementation of customer hardware and software, and impact to requirements/performance.

Experience with the integration & testing of complex electronic systems.

Expert on environmental testing to space industry standards, including random vibration, thermal cycling, thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, ESD and shock testing.

1. Lead integration and test activities of multi-function space systems.

3. Support process improvement for requirements verification, equipment validation and test practices.

4. Collaborate with program management, system and subsystem engineers, mission assurance, technicians, and other program personnel.

5. Effectively train and mentor junior test engineers and test technicians.

6. Participate in test equipment design including test cables, custom circuits, software, and test firmware.

7. Provide estimates for development hours and schedule for execution of remaining work and for changes in scope.

8. Perform other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: BS degree in mechanical, electrical, computer science, aerospace engineering or other relevant technical discipline.

Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience in electronics testing.
