Senior Manager Environment Health Safety

Sci-Rec have partnered with a market leading IVD organisation on a Senior Manager Enviornment, Health & Safety position, that will lead all aspects of developing strategy and implementing EHS Programs at their Manufacturing site in Fremont.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing a safety strategy and carrying out Safety Policies and Procedures in accordance with all local, state, federal, and corporate safety requirements

Ensure Environmental Program Compliance to include air, wastewater, hazardous waste, and storm water permitting as required

Leading their Injury Illness & Prevention Program, Hazardous Communication Plan,

Developing a management strategy to ensure compliance with EHS and Facilities regulations and codes

Lead the Employee Safety Training Program

The ideal candidate will possess:

7+ years demonstrated ability and experience in an environmental health and safety related field

Technical and practical experience within biotechnology, R&D, and manufacturing

In-depth knowledge of federal and local EHS regulations, including Cal/OSHA and EPA

Excellent leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities
