Responsibilities:

The Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) will help oversee the company's ethics, compliance, and privacy initiatives. Duties include:

Develop and update compliance program policies.

Identify high-risk areas.

Review and approve annual compliance work plans at the entity level.

Formulate quarterly entity level dashboards.

Lead quarterly compliance meetings.

Develop and deploy targeted education to mitigate risk in identified business processes. Create programs to encourage reporting of suspected violations.

Attend quarterly Board meetings.

Establish training programs on the Code of Ethics, Compliance Program, and Privacy Program.

Conduct independent investigations related to compliance.

Coordinate with the Chief Legal Officer.

Ensure corrective actions are taken in response to substantiated violations or errors.

Participate in evaluating internal controls to detect significant unethical conduct by employees, agents, or contractors.

Must-Have Skills:

Bachelor's Degree.

10+ years of healthcare and compliance experience.

6+ years of experience in a multi-entity outpatient healthcare setting, encompassing both facility and physician providers.

Expertise in healthcare compliance, particularly Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations, Stark Law requirements, and fraud and abuse laws.

Nice to Have Skills:

CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) certification is highly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of compliance risks associated with electronic health records.

Exceptional leadership and critical thinking abilities.
