Fine Wine Specialist

We are opening a second retail location in Studio City in June and may include paid training in our existing Studio City location (1 mile away) for qualified applicants with an earlier start date.

Flask, a family-owned and operated company since 1962, specializes in wine and whisky. We offer a world-class selection of wine, Bourbon, Scotch, and other spirits at three retail locations and online. As a small but growth-minded company, we pride ourselves on our tight-knit team dedicated to providing excellent, knowledgeable service to our customers. With our second Studio City location opening, we're looking to expand our team.

What We’re Looking For:

Solid Wine & Spirits Knowledge: Especially in California, French, & Italian wine, Bourbon, & Scotch.

Customer Service Excellence: Friendly and enthusiastic with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Willingness to Learn: Weekly tastings, literature, and training resources provided.

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly and politely.

Develop a high level of product knowledge about our stocked bottles to confidently make informed recommendations.

Write tasting notes and/or reviews for products you order.

Participate in weekly tastings and ongoing education.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of wine/spirits sales experience.

Solid wine & spirits knowledge (you don’t need to be a master sommelier, but understanding key varietals is necessary).

Exceptional guest service skills.

Basic computer/POS system skills.

Ability to lift 35-50 lbs unaided.

Availability to work weekends as needed.
