SAT ENGLISH TEACHER

We are seeking dedicated and experienced English teachers to join our academy and teach high school students preparing for the SAT exam. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in teaching English at the high school level and be familiar with the SAT curriculum.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement English lesson plans aligned with the SAT curriculum

Provide engaging and effective instruction to help students improve their English skills, particularly in reading comprehension and writing

Assess student progress in English and provide regular feedback to students and parents

Administer English practice tests and analyze results to identify areas for improvement

Offer individualized support and guidance to students to help them excel in the English portions of the SAT

Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance in English

Collaborate with other English teachers and staff to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching English at the high school level

Thorough understanding of the SAT exam structure, content, and strategies, with a focus on the English sections

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong ability to motivate and engage students in learning English

Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms for English instruction

Fluency in English
