Purpose

Floor & Decor is hiring a Project Manager responsible for creating and maintaining a best-in-class shopping experience on flooranddecor.com. This Product Manager will work in close collaboration with Merchants, Online Merchandising, Store Ops, Marketing & IT and other product managers covering tangentially related products. This position is a key contributor to the success of flooranddecor.com in the market and seeks to drive revenue and enhance customer experience through product evolution, enhancement, and optimization efforts. We are looking for someone with a passion for digital experience who puts the customer experience first to drive a strong roadmap & execution of roadmap plans. The ideal candidate can navigate conflicting goals across multiple stakeholder groups to arrive at mutually agreeable solutions that solve the true problem at hand while keeping the customer needs and business priorities in focus. The ability to demonstrate positive performance and increased competitiveness for the digital product is incredibly important to success in this role.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

5+ years of digital product management and/or business analyst experience

3+ years of eCommerce experience ideally with Salesforce Commerce Cloud / Demandware

Stakeholder management experience with groups such as eComm, marketing, merchandising, UX designers, and development teams

Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly. Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile Methodology

Exposure to and understanding of key UX (user experience) concepts and processes

Strong attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Experience with presenting to executives at the Director, Sr Director, and VP level

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally with a team to execute tasks and projects and achieve desired results

Must be organized and possess strong problem-solving skills

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Essential Job Functions

Create and maintain product roadmap. Writes business requirements and user stories. Define priorities, manage competing priorities and conduct trade-off discussion.

Performs product backlog management, including backlog grooming, and prioritizing development based on business need.

Conducts competitive research to identify best-in-class experiences and key trends and utilizes independent judgement to interpret and implement policies and practices that best serve those enhancements

Collaborates to gather input from stakeholders including e-commerce, online merchandising, merchants, store operations, IT and customer care.

Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) related to purchase and post-purchase operations, such as conversion rates, cart and checkout abandonment rates, order fulfillment time, and customer satisfaction metrics.

Analyzes data and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and develops data-driven insights to guide decision-making.

Continuously iterates and refine product features based on user feedback and market dynamics.

Lead discussions or business process and/or customer journey mapping sessions to clearly understand the problem being solved or goal being achieved with each feature request

Captures dependencies required to progress project or feature discovery and delivery

Provides business insight during solution implementation/interpretation of business requirements, educating project teams on user problems and evaluating relative development solutions

Conducts user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of new features in partnership with QA.

Provides subject matter expertise in digital user experience, usability, information architecture

Translates team’s work into functionality, features and content

Advocates for a unified customer experience across customer touchpoints including email, CRM, and customer care

Works closely with the development team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of new features and improvements.

Working Conditions (travel, environment)

Limited travel required

The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate

Hybrid role: Monday - Thursday in office

Physical/Sensory Requirements

Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
