Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of construction and facilities management projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, predicting resource requirements, obtaining necessary permits, managing budgets, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Define Project Scope and Deliverables:

Work closely with stakeholders to determine project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.

Establish clear project goals and performance metrics to measure success.

Predict resource needs based on project requirements and allocate resources accordingly.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure availability of necessary resources.

Decommissions

Manage resource utilization to optimize project efficiency and productivity.

Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory prerequisites for project initiation and execution.

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Collaborate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to address any compliance issues or concerns.

Draft and submit CAPEX budgets based on project scope, resource requirements, and cost estimates.

Monitor project costs and expenses, identifying variances and implementing cost control measures as needed.

Approve purchase requests and expenditures in accordance with budgetary constraints.

Provide oversight and direction over contracts and subcontracts, including negotiation, execution, and administration.

Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Resolve any contract disputes or issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Manage multiple small to large complex projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

Coordinate efforts across the entire project team, including architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors.

Monitor construction and maintenance schedules and activities, identifying potential bottlenecks and mitigating risks to project timelines.

Issue progress updates as needed regarding project costs, timelines, and milestones.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Prepare and present project reports and presentations to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.

Proven experience managing facilities management, and manufacturing projects from initiation to completion.

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.

Proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.

Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

Experience with contract negotiation, administration, and subcontractor management.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite.
