Primary Purpose

The Senior Data Analyst is a key player on the Fanatics Authentic team that contributes to the many aspects of the Fanatics eCommerce business. This position reports directly to the Director of Planning and Data Analytics with the main objective to maintain, analyze and distribute data to various cross-functional departments. This role will require interaction with senior leadership and candidates need a proven track record of distilling down complex data into actionable insights.

Duties and Responsibilities

Point of Contact (POC) for DOMO business intelligence tool i.e. Major DOMO.

Maintain complex data sets using various uploads methods (Workbench, CSV upload, FTP, API connectors) with the ability to set up and transform as necessary.

Run data queries using Beast Mode functionality using SQL/Python knowledge.

Join and/or transform various data sets using internal platform capabilities (Blend and Magic ETL).

Create and maintain dashboards, pages, and/or cards to support all departments within Fanatics Authentic organization.

Continually perform audits to maintain data integrity.

Develop data/reporting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for distribution amongst departments and provide regular reporting.

Work with Director of Planning and Data Analytics to provide ad-hoc analysis to explain business drivers, trends, and make business recommendations.

Develop and create Planning/Buying/OTB tools to provide various analytics to the Product and Sales teams.

Keep up with industry trends and provide feedback on future opportunities in data management. Supervisory Responsibilities

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Data Management, Business, MIS or comparable field).

Proficient with Microsoft Applications with an emphasis in Excel.

Hands on experience working with large and complex data sets. Proficiency w/ SQL/Python preferred and experience using Jupyter notebooks.

Experience with tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, DOMO or other business intelligence tools preferred.

Outstanding organizational skill and ability to take ownership of project from beginning to end.

Ability to consistently meet goals and high productivity levels in a fast-paced environment.
