Bookkeeper for Busy Accounting Firm

Job Description

Busy and growing tax/financial planning practice in Coconut Creek, Florida is seeking a full-time, knowledgeable accounting professional to join our dynamic team.

Requirements

Must be proficient with QuickBooks desktop, QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office required

Perform after the fact monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting services for clients in many different industries

Prepare and file sales tax

Prepare and file payroll taxes

Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations including year end tie outs to tax returns

Understanding and interpreting company financials, general ledgers and posting journal entries

Assist with any other items as needed

Qualifications:

MUST have 3+ years of experience.

Attention to detail is a must as most of the work is deadline oriented.

Must be proficient in Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks Online

Quickbooks Pro Advisor is A+

Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Candidate MUST be self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
