Position Overview:

The Staff Accountant will support the Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department, with a primary focus on the Accounts Payable process.

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up vendors, update vendor contact information, and ensure accurate tax compliance.

Review and input all invoices with appropriate documentation and approval.

Process all invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon payment terms.

Manage vendor relationships and communications.

Review, audit, and process staff travel and entertainment expense reimbursements.

Reconcile and input corporate credit card transactions.

Reconcile multiple bank accounts, ensuring accuracy of the cash accounts.

Record receipt of payments from customers and clients and process the deposit of such payments in the business checking accounts.

Prepare journal entries and maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Reconcile and certify various General Ledger accounts within daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines.

Support the accounting team in meeting month-end closing deadlines.

Assist in providing detailed support on financial reports, schedules, and regulatory reporting.

Maintain physical and electronic record retention for all assigned tasks.

Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in multinational organizations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Experience with accounting software and general ledger systems.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
