Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behavior, needs, and pain points
Collaborate with designers to create user personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to visualize and communication design concepts
Support the design team in creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and usability best practices
Assist in the implementation of designs by collaborating with developers and ensuring design specifications are met
Help iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing results
Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends to contribute to design decisions
Collaborate with other designers to contribute to the maintenance and evolution of our design system
Assist with general design tasks and administrative responsibilities as needed
Collaborate with product managers and analytics partners
Requirements
Must be 18+ years of age
Must be a Columbus City School Student
Interested in a relevant field, such as Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline
Basic understanding o or desire to learn user-centered design principles and desire to learn and grow in the field of UX design
Strong visual and communications skills, with the ability to present and articulate design ideas effectively
Interest in front-end development technologies, such as HTML/CSS is a bonus
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$16.50 - $27.50
