Job Description

TLC is a Professional Foreign Language Services Provider offering translation, interpreting, transcription, and other services in over 150 languages. Teneo Linguistics Company (TLC) is a small, woman-owned business operating globally. TLC was founded by CEO/owner Hana Laurenzo in 2007. TLC is focused on fostering a corporate culture defined by our values: Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Partnership. Our busy home office is seeking an Office Manager who embodies these values.

The Office Manager is a point of contact for:

Providing support to our team members and our building

Supporting the CEO and other members of the Leadership Team

Setting meetings and making travel plans

Paying invoices and bills

Interfacing with IT services and other vendors

Organizing the office and ordering office supplies and equipment

Providing general support to visitors and walk-in customers

Coordinate secure access to the building

Address employee queries regarding the management of the office

Requirements

Proven experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager, or Administrative Assistant

Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)

Experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks preferred)

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements

High School Diploma; Associate/Bachelor's degree is preferred; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Spanish (spoken and written) would be a plus
