COUNTRY Financial is seeking a highly motivated Test Architect /Senior Test Lead to join the Commercial & Agribusiness technology team. This position will design, direct, oversee and report on all testing activities related to Commercial/Agribusiness and Claims projects.

Quality Assurance is a key component of IT project delivery, and this role will be critical to our division’s success. In this role, you will set the direction for all levels of testing on a major initiative to implement a new policy administration system for Commercial & Agribusiness.

You will work closely with vendors, meet the expectations of our business partners, and engage with many areas across the IT department to ensure successful testing from unit and functional to end-to-end and user acceptance testing. Teams will look to you for strategic planning decisions, tooling strategy, and guidance on resourcing decisions. And you will work with senior leadership to clear blockers and share the successes of your work. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will also be given the opportunity to drive progress in areas such as test automation, continuous delivery processes.

This position allows full-time remote work.

How does a Test Architect /Senior Test Lead t make an impact?

Designs solutions after gathering business and technical requirements.

Develops software solutions that are high performing and meet technical standards.

Supports testing and problem solving/debugging of solutions.

Implements software solutions following best practices.

Do you have what we're looking for?

Experience in property/casualty insurance and/or policy administration systems.

Knowledgeable of Guidewire’s PolicyCenter policy administration system is Preferred, but not a requirement.

Lead the creation and execution of testing strategies and plans for all levels of test.

Coordinate the work of multiple scrum teams and test leads, including COUNTRY staff as well as on/offshore teams, in the planning and execution of testing activities.

Experience working on large strategic, multi-phase projects involving multiple teams and 50+ employees.

Work closely with solution providers and downstream areas to coordinate end to end testing timelines, dependencies, and data needs.

Experience creating and delivering reporting dashboards and leadership messaging around testing progress and defects.

Set strategic direction for future testing priorities, tools, and processes.

Experience working with cloud-based SaaS solutions, including analyzing application and cloud environment performance.

Experience setting up DevOps processes from a testing standpoint, working with teams that own the full engineering lifecycle.

Experience developing and planning functional and non-functional requirement testing.

Experience in QA process methodology developing/enhancing documentation, templates, checklists.

Typically requires 14 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.

Salary target: $109,600 - $150,700 +annual incentive bonus. The salary target represents the expected salary range of candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
