The Director of Sales for Dual Properties with MHG Hotels is responsible for leading and developing a proactive and comprehensive sales effort for the hotels. The Director of Sales will also oversee advertising and promotional initiatives to maximize hotel profitability and maintain customer satisfaction.
The Director of Sales will oversee the revenue expectations of two properties; Courtyard Speedway and Hampton Inn & Suites, with a conference center.

Responsibilities for our Director of Sales- Dual Properties:
Utilize Food & Beverage experience maximize revenue in the conference center
Meet or exceed predetermined booking goals for guest room revenue
Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses and maximize profitability related to the sales department
Solicit new and repeat guest room and event business.
Maintain a client base of key accounts and prospects and grow community involvement by representing the hotels in community affairs and industry related events
Make outside sales calls and phone solicitation calls to obtain business.
Conduct on-site inspections to book business.
Maintains accurate sales records, database, and reports
Fully understand the STR Report and other key industry metrics/analysis
Lead, motivate and delegate to your sales team
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
Knowledge and Skills for the Director of Sales- Dual Property:
2 or more years of hotel experience is required
Food & Beverage experience in hotels with a banquet and/or event space is required
Have knowledge of both groups, SMERF, sports, FIT, and leisure segments
Demonstrated knowledge/experience in advertising and promotional activities
General Qualifications for the Director of Sales-Dual Property

Comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels
