Electrical/Controls Engineer

Amotec is actively seeking an Electrical/Controls Engineer for our client, a leading manufacturer in the building materials space that has been in business for over 100 years. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this Electrical Engineer is responsible for the implementation, development, and improvement of electrical and controls systems throughout the facility. Our client offers a competitive base salary, bonus, and benefits. Relocation assistance would be provided for this role.

Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:

Implementation and installation of capital equipment and facilities

Project management oversight

Using the latest software and hardware components, design machine controls systems to maximize equipment productivity

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field

Minimum 2+ years of Electrical Engineer experience within a manufacturing plant

Strong familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

Project management experience
