Our Client is currently seeking Electrical and Instrumentation Engineers and Designers to be based on site in Richmond, VA. Delivering world class Engineering Solutions, this is an amazing opportunity if you are looking to grow your career with an organization who are a leader in their field.

Job Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, will independently apply electrical and instrumentation knowledge

Makes decisions on engineering problems and methods and represents the organization in project meetings to resolve important questions with key engineers

Responsible for design for electrical systems and components for large manufacturing facilities

Ensures that completed project scope is safe to operate, functional, maintainable, and that all applicable codes have been followed

Modify or create electrical schematics, single line diagrams

Review project design estimates and scopes of work for new and proposed projects

Designer: traditional 2D and advanced 3D modeling

Qualifications:

Associates degree within Electrical or Instrumentation relevant area of study. Proficiency in these areas will be considered in lieu of degree

Minimum of 3 years professional working experience

Experience within design software - Microstation, Autodesk, AutoCAD, MEP

Good knowledge of industry codes - NFPA/NEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, API and ASI as example
