Sr. UX Researcher

Pay Rate: 55-60 per hour

Hybrid/remote - Malvern, PA

Contract - 6 months to start

Our in-house creative agency, RED @ Vanguard, is expanding its research team and looking for an experienced qualitative and quantitative researcher to join a small, but impactful team. You will help to drive Vanguard’s mission by ensuring insights are at the foundation of all content, creative, and user experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with other researchers, marketing strategists, creative strategists, user experience strategists, writers, designers, project managers, and RED leadership.

In this role you will:

· Help embed agile research approaches into RED’s creative processes.

· Navigate ambiguous marketing objectives and help identify research opportunities.

· Influence and persuade stakeholders and partners to incorporate research in the creative process, where applicable, by helping demonstrate the value research brings to marketing campaigns.

· Evaluate when new research is needed, or existing insights can be leveraged by synthesizing multiple data sources and identifying relevant insights from previous and secondary research.

· Develop research approach, conduct qualitative and/or quantitative methods, analyze data, and craft summary reports with compelling insights and actionable implications.

· Presents research findings to partners, stakeholders, and senior leaders.

· Manage timelines and stakeholders, balancing your workload, competing priorities, and different teams.

· Stay up to date on research innovations and industry trends.

Qualifications:

· Five years related work experience (market and/or user experience research).

· Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

· Hands-on primary qualitative and quantitative research experience.

· Understand the role of a marketer and creative strategist, and how insights inform these roles.

· Financial services and/or creative/research agency experience preferred.

· Demonstrates a strong collaborative working style and develops networks with colleagues.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.
