Job Overview

The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the marketing team by building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable data, communications, and process infrastructure to support the company’s connected ecosystem between marketing tools and business software/CRM. This includes designing and managing integrations, Marketing Automation workflows, campaigns, and lead management processes to enable each business unit’s marketing and communication goals. This individual must be a highly collaborative, analytical, and technical marketing expert capable of developing and implementing creative solutions to operational challenges.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and own processes for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of marketing leads database; work closely with the marketing team to improve/simplify backend systems, facilitate segmentation, lead routing, lead qualification, attribution, and reporting.

Build, QA, and maintain marketing automations and integrations to enable marketing programs and campaigns and to maintain data flow between sales tools/CRM (Salesforce) and the tech stack (Marketo, etc.).

Coordinate with marketing leaders to develop reports around marketing metrics and analysis; enable monthly, quarterly, and annual business impact reporting through effective data extraction, audit, and analysis.

Collaborate to execute the marketing operations backlog and new marketing operations projects with high standards for accuracy and timeliness.

Build and optimize systems, tools and standards to improve how the marketing organization works together, with cross-functional partners, and external vendors and contractors.

Consistently enhance the integrity of company data, enable improved data quality and governance, and fuel timely and accurate reporting of marketing results.

Create new and optimize existing enterprise marketing capabilities, processes and communications tools, and eliminate unneeded tools and processes, to maximize company growth, decrease complexity and cost, and optimize resource utilization.

Develop credibility as a subject matter expert in marketing operations, provide strong thinking, and develop superior working relationships across the company.

Qualifications:

Proficient in Marketo and experience with Salesforce.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Communications/Advertising or equivalent required,

Digital marketing experience in a variety of channels, which could include: email and SMS marketing, digital advertising, social media, SEO/SEM, and short and long-form content distribution.

Technical experience with a variety of marketing tools and technologies such as marketing automations, CRM systems, customer data platforms, APIs and integrations, email marketing tools, SMS marketing solutions, etc.

Experience utilizing Monday.com, MS Teams, Adobe Express, and/or Canva.
