The Implementation Engineer is a key position within Rhapsody Professional Services team designing, installing, and configuring Rhapsody Identity product implementations for customers. The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for product installation, configuration, and tuning, along with supporting customer testing and providing consulting to the customer on best practices for product use.
Job Duties
Work with customers to understand their requirements and map those requirements to a product solution design
Scope and estimate work to implement a product or product capabilities
Work with Project Managers to build and execute implementation project plans
Install, configure, and run the EMPI as necessary towards any of the duties above
Support customers in diagnosing issued during product implementation and use
Consult with customers on best practices for Rhapsody Identity product use Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to interface with customers with professionalism
Resourceful, flexible, accountable team player
Passion for learning and constant improvement
Organized and a self-starter
Enterprise software implementation experience Preferred experience, but not required:
3 years of experience in Healthcare IT or similar experience
Ability to develop and document requirements, specifications, and processes
Experience in running effective group discussion and capturing key information
Enterprise Master Patient Index implementation and/or use
Enterprise integration
Knowledge of Healthcare Standards
Knowledge of security concerns within Healthcare IT
Enterprise software architecture Technical skills
Web service technologies such as HTTP, REST, and SOAP
RDBMS usage and SQL scripting
System, network, and application security including TLS, SSO, SAML
Software development and scripting (Java, Groovy, HTML, JavaScript)
Healthcare IT integration standards such as HL7, IHE, FHIR
Unix/Linux experience
