Job Description

Our client is looking for some qualified RF techs/Leads that have experience performing mounting and testing of Antennas and Radio Heads, as well as client interaction and site surveys. They need to have experience performing PIM/Sweep testing and be client facing. This will be supporting the massive 5G initiative. This is a long-term/perm opportunity with one of the nations leads turf vendors.

KCI is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in DMV and has a large present across the East Coast. They provide full turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors. Their wireless sectors are split up into a few groups, but ultimately support the major carriers (TMO, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Dish Network, and Crown Castle).

This RF Tech IIII (Lead) will be supporting wireless small cell deployments within the DMV for the major carriers. They will be working in teams of 2 and each Tech IIII will have their own personal helper. They will be responsible for the mounting/testing of all RRH (Remote Radios Heads) and Antennas (Not implementation will be necessary at this time). They will be mounting the systems, perform alignment, and testing utilizing OTDR, Power Meters, and Spectrum Analyzers. They will also be in charge of helping with close out packages and communicating with Project Managers to finalize efforts. This mounting and troubleshooting will be about 80% of the duties, the other 20% will be performing client interactions as well as some sites surveys.

This is a long-term/perm opportunity with one of the Nations leading Turf Vendors. KCI was the number one Engineering firm in US for the last few years. They are also moving to a new state of the art facility in White Marsh, MD.

Top Skills' Details

1. 3+ Years of Experience Performing RF Testing and Troubleshooting.

2. Experience mounting RF equipment not limited to Antennas, Remote Radio Heads, etc.

3. Experience performing sites surveys and client interactions

This is a Monday-Friday job and day shift can vary but mainly 6-2, 7-3, etc. Will be in situations with Heights as well as inclement weather. Teams of 2.

Will receive company vehicle and must be ok with operating a bucket truck.
