EHS Manager

EHS Manager Outside of Atlanta, GA Direct Hire Pay is dependent on experience Required Skills * Bachelor's degree in business administration, food science or related field from an accredited college or university.

* 5 or more years of relevant work experience in manufacturing safety and human resources.

* Experience Managing and coordinating all activities related to Environmental, Health, Safety and Training programs ensuring that Facilities and Company objectives for health, safety, quality and productivity are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities: * Develop, implement and monitor comprehensive safety processes, training programs and management practices to eliminate all accidents in the workplace and meet all applicable safety rules and company policy.

* Identifies and evaluates hazardous conditions and practices, developing practices and programs to correct or reduce their occurrence.

* Provides assistance to plant personnel to improve safety and health of all employees.

* Plans, implements and monitors the day-to-day operations for the Facility's training schedule, including analyzing operating data and reports, monitoring adherence to standards to ensure business plan objectives are met or exceeded.

* Creates Job Specific Training Modules * Investigates and reports on serious injuries to line or staff employees.

* Manages the New Employee Orientation Process.

Nice to Have * Certification as a Certified Safety Professional is a plus.

* Membership in the American Society of Safety Engineers is desirable.
