Salary is 28/hr. – $32/hr. (depending on education and experience)
Optional 5-10 hours of overtime per week
Job Responsibilities:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair machinery per customer specifications, following technical plans and electrical schematics, as well as leveraging your mechanical system understanding.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services, repairs, and customer interactions.
Assist the manager and acts as the contact person for customers with complaints, troubleshooting and repairs
Dismantle and breakdown equipment to assess problems and come up with solutions to troubleshoot, repair and fix units as need
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting working on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, sprockets, circuit boards, panels, valves, motors, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
BS/BA/AAS is preferred, ideally Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or similar or an equivalent of 5+ years in a Maintenance or Service Technician type role
2+ years of in a maintenance / service troubleshooting experience
Experience working in a complex or custom assembly, electromechanical assembly, machining, CNC, fabrication, welding or other related industrial environments preferred
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; skilled with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, gears, and related
Able to read blueprints and electrical schematics
Experience with using a multi-meter and troubleshooting electrical circuit problems
Ability to clearly identify problem areas and communicate problems to customers and Operations
Experience creating and executing practical solutions problems in a manufacturing environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand, read, write, and speak English required.
Capability to multitask and manage multiple projects
