As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to assist our Head Chef in managing the kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, delicious dishes. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and daily kitchen operations.

Oversee and manage the kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth workflow and efficient operations.

Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.

Must be able to create specials and new menu items to enhance the dining experience for our customers.

Work collaboratively with the bakery and front of the house teams to create and implement menus that complement the overall dining experience.

Maintain excellent daily communication with the bakery and front of the house teams to ensure pars, cohesiveness, and effective implementation of the menu.

Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Be a self-motivator, bringing new and exciting ideas to the table and implementing them effectively.

Assist in creating and implementing innovative and seasonal menu items.

Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.

Culinary degree or equivalent experience in the culinary field.

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavors, and current food trends.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Familiarity with local and seasonal ingredients.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
