Location: Lynbrook, NY

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 (Based on experience)

An expanding company in Nassau County is seeking a Licensed Insurance Broker to join their team, specializing in both Personal and Commercial departments.

Responsibilities:

Promptly and professionally respond to customer inquiries and requests.

Process endorsements and policy changes efficiently for clients.

Transmit necessary information to clients and brokers, including ID cards, DEC pages, applications, and quotes.

Assist applicants and brokers in completing applications and required forms.

Collaborate with the underwriting team to gather client information.

Escalate customer service issues to management when necessary.

Contribute to special projects as needed.

Provide assistance to clients regarding billing inquiries and policy adjustments.

Actively cross-sell other value-added services to clients.

Review and re-write current accounts to better suit client needs.

Maintain client files and communication activities in the agency management system.

Stay updated on changes in carrier plans and policies.

Perform tasks such as preparing applications, marketing new and renewal risks, obtaining and reviewing quotes, binding policies, checking policies, and requesting endorsements.

Build and nurture relationships with clients, carriers, and agents.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a Commercial or Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (Licensed Insurance Broker).

High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.

Property & Casualty Producer’s License Required.

Additional Skills:

Applied Systems knowledge.

Proficiency in PC skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook Explorer.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational abilities.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
