Insurance Customer Service Representatives to join a growing company in Nassau County within both the Personal and Commercial departments.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of CSR (Licensed insurance broker) experience within Personal or Commercial Lines
Responsibilities:
Properly respond to all customer requests in a professional and courteous manner and on a timely basis.
Initiate endorsements and other policy changes for customers.
Process and transmit (via fax, email, or mail) necessary information to clients and brokers such as ID Cards, DEC pages, applications, quotes, etc.
Assist applicants and brokers with completion of the application and required forms.
Assist underwriting team to obtain information from clients and broker.
Escalate customer service issues to management as needed.
Assist with special projects.
Provide assistance to clients to answer question and resolve issues, including billing questions and policy changes.
Actively look to round out accounts by referring other value-added services.
Review and re-write current accounts to carriers that will better fit the client’s needs.
Maintain client information and files, including communication and activities in the agency management system.
Keep abreast of changes in carrier plans and policies.
Preparing applications
Marketing new and renewals risks
Obtaining and reviewing quotes
Binding policies
Checking policies
Requesting endorsements

TAM experience
2+ years of Commercial or Personal Lines Customer Service Representative - CSR (Licensed insurance broker) experience
High School Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
Property & Casualty Producer’s License Required.
