Emerge is partnered with a nationwide construction company headquartered in Salt Lake City with 12 offices located Nationally, one in Denver, Colorado. Our client has been working on various construction projects and providing high-quality service for over 60 years. They look to hire highly skilled individuals who are self-starters and looking to guide individuals on the job site.

We are looking for a Project Manager to work alongside a team to ensure the overall planning, management, and execution of the Healthcare construction project. To be a successful Project Manager the ideal candidate will have the ability to clearly communicate with clients as well as the team throughout the project.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field, or the equivalent education and experience.

Minimum of 4 years of Project Management Experience in Healthcare Construction

An in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes.

Understands estimating concepts to the level required to verify bids, understand market rates, and process change orders, etc.

Understands contractual language and concepts and how to protect the company while providing quality service to the client.

Professional affiliation (e.g., AGC member) and professional credentials (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE)) are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in the preparation of estimates for the project, and prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.

Leads the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP).

Organizes and conducts pre-award and pre-construction meetings.

Prepares a project schedule and coordinates with the superintendent for successful completion.

Manages project materials and equipment procurement within the project's budget constraints and with the project delivery schedule.

Monitors the project site for cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance with the project superintendent.

Negotiates owner and subcontractor change orders and manages the resulting cost and profit impact.

Controls the payment of job costs based on document review and approval.

Coordinates all final close-out procedures for the project including as-built drawings
