Capstone IT is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack QA Automation Engineer to join our client’s team for a CTH or FTE position. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer needs and collaborating with developers, analysts, and tech leads across the delivery team to identify test scenarios to propose technical solutions. You will

manage multiple projects, understand the scope of testing required, and build a proficient framework for the test team. You will also be instrumental in planning, designing, scripting, and executing test activities, including automation with various tools, and driving the quality assurance of code and configuration.

Job Requirements:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicating testing scope to certify projects and business capabilities.

Review and approve test plans, assist with scope changes, and resolve issues throughout the SDLC.

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and tech leads to identify test scenarios and propose technical solutions.

Analyze and prioritize defects based on business and programming specifications.

Participate in testing activities, including planning, design, scripting, execution, and analysis, to provide recommendations on application issues.

Lead, develop, monitor, and execute test activities for large projects or programs.

Conduct post-test debugging, report issues, and communicate with internal and external teams.

Provide senior technical investigation, updates, and progress to the project team and management.

Automate tests for new features using existing frameworks and assist with testing all system components.

Ensure traceability from requirements to test cases, document test cases, and generate reports, accountable for software quality metrics.

Define test objectives, write and execute test cases and scenarios to ensure products meet design specifications and quality measurements.

Requirements:

Automation Tools: QTest, TOSCA, JENKINS, SPLUNK Paragon WebFASTest, Selenium Based Frameworks, SOAPUI, Transaction Script Tool.

Development Languages/Technologies: Java (Spring, JQuery, JSP, JavaScript, Spring Boot), Swagger, Shell Scripting, C++.

Deployment Tools: ACM, GIT, Concourse.

Web Services: SoapUI, Restful; OS: Windows, MAC IOS; Servers: Linux, Unix; Database: Oracle 11g.

Test Management: qTest, Jira, Confluence, Putty, TOAD, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Paragon, Jmeter, Excel VBA.

Expert in SDLC and Agile methodology, capable of working within an agile scrum team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of related technical experience in QA Automation and testing.

Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).

Project Management experience.

Automation & scripting knowledge.

Expert knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodology.

Expert in Mainframe and/or distributed automation /performance testing.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
