The Assembly Production Supervisor will be responsible for day-to-day oversight of the St. Croix Falls assembly personnel. The supervisor will guide their team through daily work objectives, monitoring employee performance and ensuring work is being completed in a safe and efficient manner. Production Supervisors ensure production personnel are properly scheduled to meet production goals. This role will also be responsible for coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees as well as initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. The role will be responsible for coverage of first shift assembly personnel Monday- Friday.
Responsibilities
Understand manpower needs and ensure adequate coverage is provided by scheduling employee’s time accordingly
Enforce company policies and perform corrective action when necessary
Track and report production metrics and performance
Recruit, interview, select, orient and train new employees to maintain proper headcount levels
Ensure production processes are being followed
Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback
Identify and communicate career advancement opportunities
Monitor production schedules to ensure orders are completed on time
Survey employee attendance, time worked, and approve PTO
Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate to maintenance when needed
Responsible for maintaining a neat work environment and conforming to applicable quality standards
Applies internal quality policies and procedures in support of our clients quality initiatives and customer standards

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor’s or technical degree preferred
1-3 years of on-the-job experience with machine shop/ assembly processes
Understanding of Quality Management Systems
Requires excellent communication skills
Should be a strong leader
Must be highly organized and self-motivated
Needs to have high attention to detail
Needs ability to delegate tasks effectively
Demonstrated adaptability to unplanned events and changing priorities
Ability to coordinate and oversee multiple tasks
Be able to work well in a cross functional team
PC skills and proficiency in MS Suite preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Ability to travel periodically for training or business
