Plumbing Designer

Job Summary:

The Plumbing Designer serves to focus primarily on the design of building-related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, educational, and healthcare facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

In this role, you will:

Produce plumbing drawings for various building types

Develop system design calculations and select equipment for use in buildings including domestic water, natural gas, storm drainage/sewer, grease handling, and water heating.

You will be a great fit if you have:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology (a plus but not required)

EIT / PE a plus but not required

3+ years of experience in plumbing design for various types of facilities

Thorough knowledge of engineering principles and experience in a broad spectrum of building types

Experience with building-related projects

Skills/abilities:

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit software

Location: Vista, CA

Travel - 10%
