Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer

firstPRO is seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Systems Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA. This role is a direct hire opportunity and has a hybrid work model. This individual will have experience with iManage/Legal Tools, Front-End and Back-End Systems Expertise and a proven ability to manage both front-end user interfaces and back-end system architecture.

Responsibilities:

Configure, deploy, and manage both on-premises and cloud-based enterprise applications.

Serve as a subject matter expert for various enterprise legal applications.

Maintain the firm's document management system, including all associated systems such as email filing servers, full-text indexes, and web servers.

Oversee the maintenance and operational support for all critical firm-wide applications, including conflicts, docketing, time entry, and the financial system.

Contribute to the development of a 'zero-touch' workstation built using Intune, MS Configuration Manager, Group Policy, and Microsoft Intune.

Develop, manage, and maintain application documentation and change control procedures to ensure proper system security and operations.

Participate in firm-wide IT projects, system designs, and procurement/outsourcing plans to ensure compliance with IT best practices, standards, and current architectural plans.

Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, security, scalability, and recoverability.

Provide third-level end-user support for enterprise systems and associated software.

Mentor and train technical staff on new technologies and promote architectural concepts.

Recommend, schedule, and assist in the execution of upgrades, migrations, and break/fix activities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.

5+ years of experience in information systems, including needs analysis, planning, design, implementation, and maintenance.

5+ years of experience with configuration management using enterprise tools for an organization of 1000 or more users.

Experience with Microsoft SCCM, MECM, Intune, or similar applications for OS image management and application deployment.

Proven experience in maintaining and supporting enterprise application systems.

Ability to effectively prioritize a wide range of tasks.

Experience in configuring and maintaining Group Policy objects for users and computers.

Understanding of the following technologies:

PowerShell/Windows Scripting

Office Add-in architecture and configuration

Windows Server Services as applied to applications (IIS/SQL Server)

SSO Technologies (SAML, OpenID Connect)

Active Directory architecture, including LDAP, DNS, and OU structures.

Life Cycle management/patch management
