Our client is hiring a temporary 2-3 month contract IT Service Engineer to install, deploy, and upgrade laptops, desktops, software, reconfigure systems, and assist with maintenance of user accounts and access. You will act as a first level Helpdesk support and provide excellent customer service in answering tickets. Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm PST.
Responsibilities
Support the deployment and maintenance of end-user client workstations and applications.
Provides direct support of end-user IT Service initiatives. Provides input to Network and Systems teams on service health and escalated issues. Coordinates technical issues with vendors and internal teams.
Responsible for mid-level troubleshooting of any problems relating to workstation, network, or application issues.
Takes a leadership role in the planning and execution of IT Service-related projects.
Contribute to IT policies and process development using industry best practices.
Assist IT Management in creation, maintenance, and delivery of IT Service-related reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or vocational certification.
3+ years IT experience with on-going skills development.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Office 365.
Experience with Internet services and general network troubleshooting (PING, DNS, etc.).
Working knowledge of Dell & Apple laptop/desktop hardware platforms.
Minimum lbs. employee must be able to safely lift: ~50 lbs.
Work environment: office, server room.
Pay Rate:
$40.00-$45.00/hr
