Integration Technician
$18/hr, 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
Performs a wide range of technical support functions for the Distribution Center and Assembly Department.
Job Summary:
Consults with customers on a regular basis concerning design, development and maintenance of product. Coordinates installation procedures. Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with technical solutions to support the customer's business objectives. Such activities may
include the following as well as other duties as assigned:
Principal Responsibilities:
Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal.
May be required to integrate OSI, first article & prototype orders.
-May be required to document OSI, first article & prototype orders.
-Resolves all technical and process related issues. Documents build process and trains production staff on customer requirements as well as industry best practices. Consults with other technology staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall design/prototype.
-Confers with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems. Prepares or
directs preparation of product or system layout. Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of
product or system.
-Reviews change requests, evaluates impact of change, and provides implementation timelines .
-May implement engineering change orders (ECO) to documentation and build process.
-Communicates engineering change notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer
engineering team.
-Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to
include various key performance metrics.
Job Level Specifications:
-Foundational knowledge of technical principles, concepts and standards acquired via academic
instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
-Develops solutions to defined tasks, typical problems and projects appropriate in scope and
complexity. May be solved by the application of specialized technical knowledge, concepts or
theories.
-Work is usually performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion.
-Receives initial direction and work may be reviewed for accuracy and quality.
-Interacts mostly with immediate management, project leaders and other professionals within the
department or function.· ·
-Actions typically affect own work assignments and department but erroneous decisions or failure to accomplish work may require some assistance or resources from within the department to remedy.
Experience:
· Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent
Education/Certification:
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Distinguishing Characteristics:
· Applies concepts of business and process improvement. Demonstrates commitment to continuous
improvement by utilizing process improvement methodologies and best practices.
· A+ Certification is required.
