Senior Accountant

Sr. Accountant – Full Time

Raleigh, NC based homebuilder, Robuck Homes Triangle, LLC, is seeking a full-time initiative-driven / self-motivated Senior Accountant to join our team. This person would be responsible for handling and executing the day-to-day and monthly accounting, including accounts payable. In addition, this person would assist in financing activities and both internal / external report preparation. This position interacts with management, banks, and staff at all levels both inside and outside the Company.

Main duties include:

· Procure and maintain all construction financing

· Order and renew lot and construction appraisals

· Montor lines of credit and covenants testing

· Manage / own accounts payable process

· Job cost reporting

· Own month-end and year-end full cycle accounting

· Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger

· Prepares financial statements and reports including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet

· Prepare and report cash flow projections

· Assist with tax return and audit preparation

· Assist with budget creation and oversight

· Work closely with the Company’s Controller and Owner in the operation and reporting of Company financial performance

Other duties include:

· Assist in processing of employee expense claims

· Set up new vendors and jobs in system

· Monitor AP / AR accounts

· Reconcile homeowner deposit and trust account

· Maintain and enforce business policies and procedures

· Assist management with budget oversight, financial and cash-flow planning

Ideal Candidate:

· Minimum two-year degree in Accounting

· 3 – 5 year of accounting experience preferred

· Strong accounting skills required

· Excellent communication and proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel

· Highly organized and detail-oriented

· Enjoy multi-tasking and working in a team-oriented environment

· Must be reliable and dedicated to the entire company

· Ability to translate work output and problem-solving solutions to Ownership and Third Parties

· Construction and / or Job Cost Accounting experience is not required but would be a plus and preferred

· Experience with Sage 300 a plus, but not required
