Position Title: Senior Accountant

Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities within our client's organization. This role involves managing accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic financial decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles specifics.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

Consolidate financial data from multiple sources and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.

Monitor budget vs. actual performance and provide variance analysis.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data for budgeting and forecasting processes.

General Ledger Management:

Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.

Record and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.

Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and financial regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or relevant certification preferred.

3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in the biopharmaceutical industry.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
