Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with an AmLaw 200 firm in its search for a Patent Paralegal. This is a direct hire, hybrid role out of the Firm’s Philadelphia offices.

Primary duties of the Patent Paralegal include but are not limited to:

Providing support to IP group by assisting attorneys with preparing corrective patent documents and handling formalities responses;

Preparing, filing, prosecution and maintenance of all patent applications;

Managing client patent portfolios;

Preparing Information Disclosure Statements;

Preparing correspondence, reports, and charts;

Managing and monitoring patent prosecution dockets;

Assisting on other projects as needed.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.

Infrequent lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds.

The successful Patent Paralegal will have:

3+ years of relevant patent experience in a law firm setting;

Firm grasp of US, PCT, and foreign patent procedure and formality requirements;

Experience in trademark prosecution and IP litigation experience a plus!;

Knowledge of patent-specific electronic filing systems;

Strong researching skills;

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro;

Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced environment, maintaining client confidentiality at all times;

Knowledge of CPi docketing software a plus!
