We are a dynamic and innovative media company producing engaging vertical drama series on Sereal+ platform. Our content captivates audiences with compelling storytelling and high production value. We are seeking a dedicated and talented Assistant Editor to join our post-production team.

Job Description:

We are looking for an Assistant Editor who is passionate about storytelling and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will assist in the post-production process, ensuring that our vertical drama series are polished and ready for distribution. You will work closely with the Editor and other team members to maintain the quality and consistency of our content.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Editor in the editing process, including organization, turnover, and delivery.

Organize and manage project files, including footage, sound files, and graphics.

Perform rough cuts and assemble scenes based on the script and editor’s vision.

Sync audio and video files, and ensure proper alignment of all elements.

Apply basic color correction and sound editing. Turnover VFX plates.

Maintain a consistent workflow and adhere to deadlines.

Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure seamless project execution.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions promptly.

Stay updated with the latest editing software and industry trends.

Requirements:

Bachelor or master’s degree in film and television.

Proven experience as an Assistant Editor or similar role in film or television production.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. Knowledge of VFX (such as After Effects), sound editing, or color correction is a plus.

Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
