Lead Machine Learning Engineer

Join our client as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer where you'll be at the forefront of pioneering advanced analytics for actionable insights within our FinTech and RegTech Product portfolio. In this role, you'll spearhead the implementation of cutting-edge communications intelligence, collaborating closely with a dynamic team of ML engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver top-notch SaaS products.

Here's what you'll be up to:

Lead the design and integration of complex solutions across cross-functional teams to tackle high-level challenges.

Serve as a go-to expert in machine learning, fintech, and Regtech, offering technical leadership and guidance.

Evaluate and propose optimal solutions while working closely with Product Management and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.

Break down intricate technical solutions into manageable components and influence product designs.

Tackle and resolve complex issues related to bugs, performance, security, and scalability.

Actively contribute to troubleshooting and incident management processes, implementing proactive measures for issue prevention.

Drive task lifecycle management using tools like JIRA and participate in internal and external code reviews for continuous improvement.

Champion best practices, mentor team members, and actively engage in agile ceremonies to provide valuable inputs.

Here's what we're looking for:

Proficiency in JVM language (Java/Kotlin) and Python.

Experience in NLP, ML-Ops, and data pipelines.

Strong familiarity with ML frameworks/libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

Deep understanding of ML Algorithms, Statistical techniques, and data analysis methodologies.

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS & Google Cloud, including tools like Amazon Sagemaker and Jupyter Notebooks.

Proficiency in microservices & event-driven architecture, with exposure to building ML applications/services for Fintech/Regtech.

Familiarity with Kafka and RDBMS such as MySQL & Postgres.

Proficiency in containerized platforms like Docker, Helm & Kubernetes, along with experience in CI/CD tools like Bamboo, ArgoCD.

Proficiency in API design and working with distributed systems.

Expert programming skills, strong analytical abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Deep understanding of software architecture/engineering and continuous software delivery practices.

Strong grasp of ML business and technology domains.
