Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer:

Our client is looking for an outgoing individual who will be able to research, develop, design, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties.

Job Function:

Designs electrical equipment, components, products, and systems for aerospace and defense purposes per customer requirements in accordance with Military Standards and DO-160.

Prepares schematics, bills of materials, printed circuit boards, wiring harness, and assembly drawings to support qualification and production build of the design.

Coordinates with other engineering disciplines and departments to ensure overall system form, fit, function and safety requirements are achieved.

Designs and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and qualification/production test support equipment. Determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products in accordance with system requirements.

Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing procedures, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.

Directs and coordinates repair assistance of production and field returns.

Coordinates with quality assurance to support production test procedures.

Coordinate with purchasing and manufacturing to support obsolescence issues and verification/validation of new sources.

Coordinates and prepares engineering change notice (ECN) per configuration management standards.

Directs and coordinates operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations.

Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university or an Electrical Engineering Technology degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
