Job Description:

MEI is seeking a Technical Recruiter for Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying and attracting top talent to contribute to our innovative projects in the construction and data center sectors. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and a passion for fostering collaborative relationships within our team and with our clients. This role is in-office and based in Phoenix, Arizona.

Job Duties:

Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

Conduct thorough reviews of candidate resumes, evaluating qualifications, skills, and experiences.

Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with technical requirements and cultural fit.

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding.

Cultivate relationships with industry professionals and networks to expand talent pipelines.

Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize recruitment processes and enhance candidate experience.

Represent MEI at industry-specific recruiting events, career fairs, and conferences to network with potential candidates and stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in talent acquisition.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2+ years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.

Strong understanding of recruitment principles, techniques, and best practices.

Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team.

Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience recruiting for roles in construction, electrical engineering, or related fields.

Familiarity with technical tools and software utilized in engineering projects.

Certifications in HR or recruitment-related disciplines.

Familiarity with ADP.
