Job Description
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is interested in working with children of all ages. The successful candidate will ensure that our patients receive high quality, compassionate care through educating families on how to improve the lives of their children through addressing development, communication and self-help skills.
Compensation - $78 -$80 on 1099
Responsibilities:
Occupational Therapist gives high-quality occupational therapy services to children based on their individual needs and goals as established by their physicians and parents.
Will help families with problem-solving skills to maintain the child's home and school routines and activities.
Will help families to adapt to the child's disability and promote self-esteem within the family and community.
Occupational Therapist should be comfortable answering questions about their profession and field of practice.
Should be able to independently provide and document pediatric occupational therapy services and clinical assessments using professional terminology.
Will use proper equipment during therapy sessions.
Should be able to motivate children to participate in their own treatment.
Should be able to communicate clearly with other professionals who work with your patients (e.g., physicians, therapists, home health aides, etc.).
Occupational Therapist will focus work efforts on the patient, not the documentation.
