Senior Financial Analyst (Strategy & Analytics) – Real Estate

About the role

Support the Real Estate Strategy and Analytics (S&A) team and their customer partnerships across a multitude of responsibilities.

Support Strategy Development via preparing materials for annual Fleet Review, brand real estate meetings, and periodic lease action and real estate committee meetings, Support Landlord Package Negotiation process for major landlords, including file development and maintenance and deal analysis. Analytics: incorporating business insights, market trends and client behaviors to derive market-based approach to portfolio assessment and review, Develop and manage new financial based tools Prepare financial analysis for actionable Lease Action and Capital projects Value-added reporting & analysis that improves future strategy and decision-making.

The impact you can have

• Maintaining store pro forma among other analytical tools and preparing periodic reports.

• Expanding our capabilities through value-added reporting & analysis that improves future strategy and decision-making

• Strategy Development: support preparation for Fleet Review as well as periodic brand Real Estate review meetings and special project assessment

•Deal Review: incorporates deal analysis activities and tools, and interactions with the deal making team and organizational partners

• Supporting our partners in Real Estate related to store construction, capital planning and hindsight, payback analysis on special projects and investments

You’ll bring to the role

• Minimum 3-5 years of applicable experience in financial planning and analysis, with strong preference for experience in Retail industry Real Estate finance.

• Participating in critical analysis of existing systems and processes, and identifying opportunities for process improvements, while maintaining proper controls and compliance with internal/external policies.

• Conduct responsibilities with urgency and a high level of accountability.

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis preferred. Experience in Return on Investment analysis preferred.

• Strong analytical skills: advanced Excel skills for use in financial modeling a must.

• MS Power Point, Hyperion and Essbase, Lucernex, and Tableau or Power BI all a plus

• Exposure to geo-demographic systems (Kalibrate/TAS, ESRI, or Tango) a plus.

• Ability to accurately navigate and summarize large sets of data in order to provide meaningful analysis.

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• BS in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or Economics.
