About the Project Manager position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of projects across the organization, including both software and operational projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful software implementations.

Critical factors in consideration for this role include:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

3+ years prior experience as a project manager

Knowledge of real estate software preferred (Yardi Voyager, Entrata, RealPage, EliseAI, Residesk, Docuverus)

Experience with full SDLC including QA and UAT

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience with project management tools and software (scrum/kanban boards such as Jira, Asana or Trello, Microsoft Project, MS Office, FreshService)

Certification in Project Management a plus (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM)

Understanding of evolving technology landscape. ITSM/ITIL experience a plus.

Ability to work independently.

Experience in Developing WBS

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Project Planning:

- Develop comprehensive project plans & artifacts outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets with input from the business, IT and external vendors

- Work closely with stakeholders to define project requirements and expectations.

Software Selection and Vendor Management:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and select software solutions that best align with project requirements, security requirements and organizational objectives.

- Conduct thorough assessments of potential software vendors, including evaluating their capabilities, reputation, and track record.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with software vendors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

- Manage relationships with software vendors throughout the implementation process, holding them accountable for delivering on their commitments.

- Facilitate knowledge transfer and training sessions to ensure that team members are proficient in using the selected software solutions.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

- Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

Risk Management:

- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

- Proactively address issues as they arise to keep projects on track.

Communication:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, milestones, and issues.

- Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that software implementations meet quality standards and adhere to best practices.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation to verify functionality and performance.

Change Management:

- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.

- Implement change control processes to minimize scope creep and project delays.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and project status reports.

- Generate regular reports on project progress, budget utilization, and key performance indicators.
