Job Summary:

The Commercial HVAC Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects in the commercial HVAC sector, with a focus on projects valued up to $5 million. This role involves coordinating project teams, ensuring timely and on-budget project completion, and maintaining client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

Budget and Cost Management:

Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure projects remain within the established financial parameters.

Identify and mitigate cost overruns through effective cost control strategies.

Resource Management:

Allocate resources efficiently to meet project objectives while optimizing labor and materials.

Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.

Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain quality control procedures to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain high-quality workmanship.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open communication and addressing concerns promptly.

Build and nurture strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and potential for future projects.

Timeline Adherence:

Monitor project timelines and milestones, taking proactive measures to keep projects on schedule and within deadlines.

Address any delays or deviations from the project schedule to minimize project impact.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess potential risks and issues, developing mitigation plans to minimize their impact on project outcomes.

Implement strategies to mitigate safety risks and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Tradesman experience may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree

Proven experience in project management, specifically in commercial HVAC projects up to $5 million.

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and project management methodologies.

Estimating experience is a plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
