Software Engineering Lead

Description: Software Engineering Lead

We are looking for a Software engineering Leader that will be able to come in, integrate with the business, and become the lead in our new Software project initiatives.

This person will be focused on running a software team and needs to be able to leverage technical skills and leadership skills to oversee the functions of each individual on their team.

Daily tasks will include:

Working with other team leads/internal customers determining what they need in support of business goals

Proactively initiate solutions to current and future challenges

Guide, grow, manage daily functions of 6-7 direct reports

Collaborating with other 3 sister Teams(A.I, Manufacturing Automation, I.T)

Python, SQL, Engineering Management, GITLAB, GITHUB, PostgreSQL, C++, Software Architecture, Docker, MATLAB, CUDA, AWS, Project Management, 3D Design Engineering, Data Science

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors(Preferably masters) in software Engineering or Computer Science

Proven People leader(visionary) and manager as they will lead a team of well trained engineers

Goal and detail oriented

Sense of urgency

Analytical

Need to be able to architech solutions through process mapping
