$24 Billion foods manufacturer/ producer that has been in business for 67 years has a need for a Production Supervisor that can grow to a manager in 1-2 years
This role is open due to expansion of a new product line.

Salary is based on experience and pays 80K - 100K + 15% bonus (based on education and experience) Responsibilities
Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
Will have direct supervision responsibility of 20-30 employees
Identify and resolve bottlenecks using lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Set and achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line utilization and quality
Develop a team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short and long-term performance goals
Delivers effective change leadership to drive business changes while minimizing people impact
Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues
Track key performance indicators (KPI’s), anticipate and correct trends which would compromise achievement of financial targets
Requirements
BS/BA is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related
2+ years of prior leadership /project management experience in a manufacturing, military, college, or business environment is required
Able to work in large, fast paced environment
Excellent leadership skills and able to communicate effectively to all levels of management
Quick learn, self-directed and self-managed
Open to working an off shift as needed Preferred experience:
Experience with a continuous improvement background utilizing lean, six-sigma, TPM and similar methodologies
